Member Information
Engineers Without Borders is a humanitarian aid organization dedicated to developing the professional skills of motivated undergraduate students. There are no prerequisites for joining an EWB project. The only requirements are that members be dedicated, passionate, and eager to learn.
The Bungwe community has made it known that there are other projects available for adoption by EWB-UCSD either after or in parallel with the current project. Further growth of the Rwanda Project is contingent upon increasing membership. The variety of tasks associated with the project, including grants writing, engineering design, publicity, event planning, and organizational leadership open up the Rwanda Project to all majors.
The Rwanda Project currently hosts a variety of graduate and undergraduate students. While prior involvement in engineering or related organizations is not necessary to join, the enhanced contribution of graduate students is always welcomed and appreciated.
