Our MissionIn the developing community of Bungwe, Rwanda, insufficient infrastructure hampers the community’s ability to readily acquire water for domestic needs. The primary water source is a spring that is 500 vertical meters below the village. As a result, citizens must transport water by hand in containers uphill. A majority of the population struggles to attain the accepted standard of 20L of water per person per day.
Our goal is to provide implement an effective rainwater harvesting system, which will provide the community with a more accessible form of clean drinking water. We are a chapter of Engineers without Border USA. |
