The Rwanda Project: Teams
The Rwanda Project has general meetings, then each of the three teams meet separately to achieve specific goals. All majors and years are welcome to join. If you are interested in joining a specific team, please click on the team heading.
Education and Society
The Education and Society Committee is responsible for gathering information about Rwandan customs, the general populace, laws & regulations, and other aspects of Rwandan culture that will aid us throughout our trip. The Rwanda Project contacts Bungwe officials on a regular basis, and the E&S Committee aggregates this information, along with other research, into articles for the Bungwe Master Report. Excerpts from the report can be viewed on the team page.
Grants
The Grants Team is responsible for finding funding for our project. The Grants Team regularly works with organizations both on and off campus to plan fundraisers and apply for funding opportunities. The Grants Team also raises awareness for the Rwanda Project by creating pamphlets, fliers, t-shirts, and presentations that spread awareness about the Rwanda Project.
Heath and Safety
Health & Safety Committee is to ensure the well being of all members and collaborators through preparation and prevention. Projects range from vaccinations and first aid training for our members and advisers heading abroad to developing water testing strategies for the water transportation system.
